It’s so hot! It’s so hot! I wish there’s snow coming down. Winter sonata one, please.
I just got back from Jitra. Settle down all my bills payment. Damn, it’s so hot out there. I wish I could just wear shorts and singlet out to town likes my early teenager’s time. As expected, there were many people in town doing their depa raya shopping. Plus, it’s last day school. Students with their outing uniform scattered all over the place, looking for a taxi and bus. And what the hell I’m in town at this moment, menyibuk lah.
Actually, I need to go to TNB centre to pay my electricity bills. Ahahhh! This time straight to the payment counter without waiting for my turn. Seem likes nobody cares about paying the bills at this moment. All the money spends for the hari raya celebration. Now I know the right time for me to do the bills payment. Done. Moved on to Maybank. I need to deposit some cash. Deposit cash??? People are cashing out the money and you vice versa. Well, guess I’m against the flow.
While walking to Maybank, I was approached by a salesgirl selling religion books and CDs. I hate this and I really really hate this. This is not the right technique of selling products. You gonna break two hearts. Salesperson might get irritated, sad, or depress when people say NO to them. Me, might feel sad saying NO to them and sometime would be very angry being stopped in the middle of my work. Please, stop it now especially during this season.
Wow…new look of Maybank Jitra. The renovation was still running but people already queued long at the ATM machine. Everybody tries to cash out some duit raya, perhaps. Hey, where’s the cash deposit machine. People don’t need it now; all they need is ATM machine. That’s ok, plus it’s too crowded for me in there. So, I left.
Got back in the car. Again… queuing. Thanks God, I’m with my kancil. So, I can mencelah-celah la. From my window, I saw people rushed for everything. Why need to rush. Driver makes the other driver cursing them for cutting the queue. Salesperson gets scold by the customers for being inefficient. Pedestrians impatiently cross the road without thinking their safety. When everybody tends to get things go faster, they are actually making enemies. Ramadan and Aidilfitri for sure are not about hurting people and making enemies. It’s all about forgiveness and relationships. You go to shopping, get your things done slowly, meet new people, have conversation, invite them to your house during the Hari Raya and become friends in the future. That’s what we all need to understand about celebrating the Hari Raya.
Hey! Don’t sound your horn at me! I’m just giving a way for them to cross the road. See, how they don’t have the patience over an old man and a mother with a kid crossing the road. It’s ok, they don’t have patience this time but I do. I’ll stop and give a way for them. Then, I saw they smiled at me. When you do something good, people are happy. In return, they smile at you back and make you happy too.
Wohooo…looks familiar. Tall and slender, sexy posture, trendy…ermm. Who’s that girl who tried to cross the road. I watched her up and down. Then, sharp to her face. From that side of road to this side of road. I watched her until she moved away with her scooter. Ahahh…now I remember. Fazliana Razak, my ex-classmate. Hohoho…I remember her name. She is still the same except for her tudung. May be it’s Ramadan and for a girl likes Ana (that’s what we called her), she can wear tudung whenever she wants and take it off at anytime. Tell you what, this is the moment that you will meet all your old friends again. Far and near, wherever they are before, you will catch them in town.
Happy Deepavali and Selamat Hari Raya.
